July.  Summertime.  It's usually hot and dry after the 4th, so we were incredibly fortunate to get rain scheduled for match day.  Actually, the weather was a mixed bag.  There was a fairly constant sprinkle during setup and the first couple stages, with all the attendant privileges and benefits: target bags, non-stick tape, droopy cardboard heads.  This just served to make it seem so nice when the rain stopped somewhere around the midway mark.  Also, we had a special treat today, Mark brought an AR-15 .22 conversion which was used for a portion of stage four.

Heads up for next month: We'll be having a shotgun stage that will require five shotgun SLUGS.  (Shot is not permitted at the range.)  I'll post a notice here and send out an email message when I know the details.
